Article 14 Exemption

The data that Litir collects and stores are considered to be exempted to the general obligations of Articule 14 to provide and disclose information to the data subject. The exemption follows the Data Protection Regulation, both

  • Article 14 (1). 5, letter a, which relates to “the data subject already has the information”: Litir scrapes and collects data that the subject already know is available.
  • Article 14 (1). 5, letter b, which relates to a “the provision of such information proves impossible or would involve a disproportionate effort”: Informing and reaching all the affected data subjects would be nearly impossible and would involve a disproportionate efforts.
